API Options

Universe has a number of API options including REST and GraphQL. You can also use other solutions such as our widget callbacks and webhooks to retrieve data.

If you are building a new integration, we highly recommend using GraphQL as we’ll be deprecating our REST API in the near future as we strongly believe the future is GraphQL. Shopify also has a great comparison of the benefits of GraphQL over REST.
